Education Reform

Nationwide, our educational system is in disrepair and a lack of government support for our public schools has compromised the future of the next generation of Americans. In our district, our public schools have outperformed many others nationwide but we must act now to expand funding and make public education our top priority.

Many in our district must attend a public school in their area of residence, and have very few options or alternate choices. If elected, Michael B. Younan will fight for expansion of the Federal School Voucher program, which grants parents of students in academically failing schools (as defined by the No Child Left Behind Act) the right to transfer to other educational programs and allocates federal resources to provide for their education. Freedom to choose the best education available must be granted to all parents in our district, and Michael B. Younan will work towards a brighter future for the ninth district’s children if elected.
